Job description
• Support the implementation of the Business Unit Balance Score Card (BSC) initiatives
• Coordinate the loading and approval of reviewer contracts and related documents
• Screen and assess requests from business units and prepare recommendations for the manager
• Update allocations and budget tracking on the relevant tools and keep records up to date
• Support supplier performance monitoring and help track actions linked to contractual requirements (including penalty clauses, where applicable)
• Support the drafting, updating and roll-out of PIR procedures
• Coordinate the loading of PIR MOAs before each audit cycle and support ongoing follow-ups with stakeholders
• Organize PIR workshops and training sessions (logistics, invites, attendance registers and feedback)
• Support quality checks for PIR processes, including reviewer allocations and training records
• Prepare regular PIR status reports for the manager and help communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
• Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and manage stakeholder queries in line with approved protocols
• Contribute to knowledge sharing by highlighting insights, risks, and operational challenges throughout the portfolio
• Support with resource planning and allocation activities
• Draft and update SOPs and SLAs to clarify roles and steps for resource allocation
• Compile resource data and support analysis to help determine the optimal staff mix
• Coordinate pooling and delivery Centre activities and support the use of portfolio/resource tools
• Maintain governance and allocation documentation for assigned initiatives and keep records up to date
• Support budget tracking and financial controls; help prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports
• Identify resource constraints or bottlenecks and track actions to resolution
• Coordinate resource allocation activities ahead of audit cycles and keep allocation records updated
• Maintain and update the Section 4(3) repository to ensure information is current and easy to access
• Support the review and updating of Section 4(3) procedures anIntegrityd guidance notes and keep version control records
• Track process issues and bottlenecks, follow up on actions, and escalate to the manager when needed
• Support monitoring of compliance with the Public Audit Act and relevant directives and maintain evidence/records
• Coordinate and track Section 4(3) governance actions and deliverables and report progress to the manager
• Organize and coordinate the annual Section 4(3) workshop (logistics, invites, attendance and minutes) and support reporting of outcomes
• Prepare and share the annual Section 4(3) update with internal and external stakeholders, as approved by the manager
• Maintain effective relations with both internal and external stakeholders
• Build collaborative relationships with internal and relevant stakeholders
• Support initiatives of sharing insights, risks and experiences
• Manage the feedback process to stakeholders by tracking all queries received, getting the relevant information and formulating appropriate responses according to the approved protocol
• Manage own development and performance as per the generic competency plan, training plan and individual performance contract
• Comply with the necessary training regulations, applicable policies and other training initiatives
• Participate in the BUs transformation, culture, diversity and employment equity initiatives
• Ensure compliance with AGSA policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
• Manage supply chain processes within scope of work
• Assist in providing information on payments to suppliers and service providers
• Perform and/or manage other projects, tasks and assignments delegated by the Manager not stipulated in the role profile description as and when required

Minimum requirements
- Minimum qualification: CA(SA)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an auditing environment.
This appointment is subject to the preferred candidate obtaining the necessary security clearance, reference checking and competency assessment.
